Update on the lawyer situation: I ditched that route, and found myself a new lawyer who sounds nicer than nice. For the Dutchies- he told me: 'dat we spijkers met koppen gaan slaan'. Wow, this makes me feel good.
(I now have a shrink and a lawyer- the only thing that's missing for an American lifestyle is an SUV)
